Dance Fire at Platinum DanceSport Classic in Miami!

We didn’t have the chance to share with all of you our wonderful dance news as we were enjoying every single moment of this unforgettable weekend!

We are extremely proud of our Dance Fire dancers representing the team splendidly!

Congratulations to:

Nancy & Dance Master Florin on placing 1st and 2nd in the single dances of the American Smooth style, receiving 2nd in the Bronze DanceSport Series Challenge and being 4th in the Scholarship. Nancy & Florin performed for the first time their brand new Tango showcase “Por Una Cabeza” receiving high scores from the judges! Her passion for dance & improved technique is getting noticed on the competition floor!

Kayla & Dance Master Andrei on a successful competition debut and winning the Top Newcomer Student Award! She placed 1st in all her dances and scholarships in the Night Club & American Rhythm events! Kayla also wowed the judges with her Salsa & Bachata showcases! She is a natural performer and looked absolutely stunning!

Monty & Dance Master Natalia on winning the Tango in the Gentleman’s Open Ballroom Challenge and placing 2nd overall, receiving 3rd and 4th in the other two Open Ballroom Challenges and dancing in the final of the Scholarship! Monty demonstrated a great improvement since his last competition! Bravo!

Sofia & Dance Master Andrei on placing first in all her Latin dances as well as the Closed Latin Championship in the Youth category. Sofia was on fire and danced extremely well! We are proud of all the hard work she puts into her dance future which is very bright!

Dance Masters Florin and Natalia on placing 3rd in the Waltz and 4th overall in the strong final of the Open Professional Ballroom Championship!

Thank you to the organizers Igor & Polina Pilipenchuk for creating an electrifying atmosphere for our competitors!

Besides dancing our hearts out, we had a wonderful time of late night laughs, delicious meals, sightseeing, pool time throughout the weekend as well as a productive and fun Sunday spent all together! Sunday Brunch, amazing coaching with Francesco Flumiani & Tone Jacobsen followed by a Cuban dinner & Salsa dancing in Little Havana!

Dance Fire at Senior USA Dance Nationals!

Congratulations to Mike and Sue on a great performance at the USA Dance Senior National Championships in Chicago this past weekend! They have become Silver & Gold National Latin Champions and have placed in the Final & Semifinal of the Gold & Novice National Championships!

Dance Fire at Paragon Open DanceSport Championships 2021!

A successful weekend for Dance Fire at Paragon Open DanceSport Championships! Thank you to the organizers Andrei Gavriline and Elena Kryuchkova for a welcoming, full of energy competition with a wonderful Halloween spirit in the ballroom!

On Thursday Nancy had her first competition experience. Together with her Dance Master Florin their dancing and results were nothing short of spectacular, placing 3rd in the Bronze American Smooth Scholarship and placing 1st with high scores in the showcase competition.

On Friday Monty and Dance Master Natalia had a great performance after a long competition break. Congratulations on winning the Gentlemen's Open Gold Ballroom Championship and placing 6th in the final of the Open Gold Ballroom Scholarship.

On the same evening we were excited to cheer for Kevin and Natasha who had their debut in the Silver level. Congratulations on your win and welcome back to the competition floor!

On Saturday Susan and Dance Master Andrei set the floor on fire and won the Bronze Latin Championship as well as received 2nd place in the Bronze Latin Scholarship. This was Susan's first competition and we can't wait to help her reach her highest dance goals.

Our Dance Fire Family is extremely proud of Tom and Tamara who have shown incredible commitment to improving their dancing and after a long break involving a back surgery deliver such great results: 1st place in Adult Novice and Pre-Champ Championships! 2nd place in the Adult Novice Tango competition!

Dance Fire is delighted to have all of you be part of our dance family! Your hard work and dedication to this beautiful art and sport is showing!

DBDC Boston Competition News

Dance Fire had a great time at the DBDC in Boston.

Our Dance Masters Florin and Natalia were happy to win the Pro RS Ballroom Championship & placed overall 4thin the final of the Peter Eggleton Professional Ballroom Cup!

This venue at the Park Plaza Hotel Boston is absolutely spectacular. Thank you Didio Barrera, Chris Johnston, Frank Miranda, Keith Todd, Andy Fishel and all involved in organizing this competition for a warm & elegant atmosphere!

We are very proud of our hard-working students.

 Emma & Dance Master Florin placed 1st in the Closed Bronze International Ballroom Championship and in her single events as well as receiving 3rd place in the Bronze International Ballroom Scholarship.This was Emma's first competition and she was invited to perform a solo in the Best of the Best challenge! Emma & DM Florin also wowed the Boston audience with their "Hey Pachuco" Quickstep showcase!

Bryan & Dance Master Natalia competed for the first time together, in the Pro-Am American Smooth competition. Bryan did a wonderful job receiving 1st to 3rd placements in Gentlemen's division Bronze American Smooth events as well as placing 4th in the Scholarship.

Benjamin and Anya were excited to be back on the competition floor after such a long break. They placed 1st in every single Junior 1 event and their energy was truly inspiring!

Sabina competed in the Solo Star category. Her confidence on the floor was eye-catching. Congrats on an excellent performance placing 1st in every single dance!

2021 Capital USA Dance Ron Curry Scholarship Recipients

Congratulations to Alex and Anna Sophie on receiving the 2021 Capital USA Dance Ron Curry Scholarship!

Alex and Anna Sophie are members of Dance Fire's Competitive DanceSport Team.

They are working hard with their Dance Master Florin to prepare for their next DanceSport Competition.

First Win for 2021 at Philadelphia DanceSport Championships!

Great news!

Dance Masters & Owners Florin and Natalia have won the Professional Rising Stars Championship and placed 2nd in the Open Professional Championship at Philadelphia Dancesport Championships!

This year this competition was held in Tampa, Florida. It was so good for our Dance Masters to be back on the dance floor after over 1 year break due to the pandemic. Thank you to the organizers Igor Litvinov and Chuck Danza for an excellently run competition.

Our Dance Masters would like to Thank:

• Gesteredi Sarolta (Sarolta Gesteredi) for making our vision into a reality- we love the new dress!;

• Their best team of teachers for believing in us;

• Natalia's personal trainer Joe of The AthLab for making her body fitter, stronger and ready to compete;

• Their students and studio for always being there for them and supporting Dance Fire Studio through these uncertain times.

P.S. After the first day of competing and winning the championship Natalia had to be taken by an ambulance to the local hospital due to a severe acid reflux. Fortunately, after a lot of rest she was able to dance in the Open Professional Competition where she placed together with Dance Master Florin 2nd from a semifinal! This first competition was a great start for them and they can't wait to see what the future has in store for them.

Empire Dance Championship 2017! New York City!

We are back from a fun weekend in New York City! Our hard working student Erick together with his dance instructor Natalia won their division and placed 2nd in the open championship event at the #EmpireDanceChampionship!  Erick's dancing has improved tremendously during the summer and he deserve every medal he received!
